The Arizona Diamondbacks unveiled new uniforms for the 2016 season on Thursday night for their #DbacksEvolution event.
The Diamondbacks will sport eight different options next season.
Arizona’s new home uniforms feature the team’s traditional colors of black and Sedona red and the new arched wordmark on a white base. The home uniforms also feature a new diamond pattern along the shoulders. The alternate home jerseys are similar in style, but feature Sedona red and teal detailing.
Arizona’s new road uniforms feature a darker gray base with black and Sedona red detailing. As with the alternate home jerseys, the alternate road jerseys feature teal and Sedona red details.
As an alternate uniform option, the Diamondbacks revealed a black top featuring a large “A” logo on the front. The team has not worn its alternate black uniforms on the road since 2006.
As a second alternate uniform option, Arizona has a new Sedona red top with “DBacks” and the player’s number written across the front.
The new series of uniforms also includes an Hispanic Heritage jersey, which has been a part of the team’s tradition since 2008.
As a throwback to the 2001 world championship team, the Diamondbacks will also wear a purple and teal uniform next season.
The team also announced the return of the snakehead logo as the sleeve patch for the first time since 2006.
