As the city of Miami and the entire MLB community mourn the death of Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez, something mysterious occurred on Monday during the investigation of the tragedy -- a bag of baseballs signed by Jose Fernandez washed ashore approximately one mile from the accident. In a video taken by WSVN's Rosh Lowe, Ocean Rescue Division Chief Vincent Canosa elaborated on his inclination that the bag belonged to Fernandez and/or one of his two friends, Emilio Macias and Eduardo Rivero, whose lives were also lost during the boat wreck.
