The Indians are acquiring outfielder Jay Bruce from the Mets, a source told MLB.com's Jordan Bastian.
Bruce is batting .256 with 29 home runs and an .841 OPS in 103 games with the Mets this year. The left-handed hitter has seen time in the outfield and at first base. He is owed around $5 million for the rest of 2017 and will be a free agent at the end of this season.MLB.com
