The Rangers have acquired right-hander Miguel Gonzalez from the White Sox in exchange for Minor League infielder Ti'Quan Forbes.
Gonzalez, 33, went 7-10 with a 4.31 ERA in 22 starts for Chicago this season. He began his career with the Orioles, for whom he pitched from 2012-15.

Over his six-year career, he has a 3.88 ERA.
Forbes, 21, has appeared at third base, shortstop and first base between Class A Advanced Down East and Class A Hickory this season, slashing .234/.281/.344 with 11 home runs in 130 games. He was a second-round Draft pick of the Rangers in 2014.
