The Arizona Diamondbacks have shipped outfielder Gerardo Parra to the Milwaukee Brewers for a pair of minor-leaguers, the D-Backs announced Thursday.Parra, 27, is hitting .259/.305/.362 (86 OPS+) with 18 doubles, three triples, six homers, 30 RBI and 51 runs scored this season. The two-time Gold Glover is widely considered one of the best defensive outfielders in baseball, too, both in terms of range and his throwing arm (17 outfield assists last season, eight so far this year).

With Ryan Braun in right field, Carlos Gomez in center and Khris Davis in left field, Parra doesn't look to be an everyday starter by any stretch, but he provided excellent depth in the outfield and can handle all three positions.
Haniger, 23, is hitting .255/.316/.416 with seven doubles, 10 homers and 34 RBI in 67 games for Double-A Huntsville this season.
Banda, a 20-year-old left-hander, is 6-6 with a 3.66 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 83 strikeouts in 83 2/3 innings for Class A Wisconsin this season.
