Pop quiz, hotshots…what do Darryl Strawberry, Jose Canseco and Johnny Damon have in common?
Answer.
All three were All-Star outfielders, naturally.  All three won multiple World Series rings, including at least one with the New York Yankees.  And, as of the official announcement Tuesday morning…all three have competed for the love and adulation of one Mr. Donald Trump.
That’s right, Damon is part of the upcoming “Celebrity Apprentice” set to premiere January 4 on NBC.
As you’ll recall, The Hall first told you about Damon’s involvement months ago after he was seen on the streets of the Big Apple showing off his World Series rings and handing out free hot chocolate.

The other celebrities angling for Trump’s attention…Ian Ziering, Lorenzo Lamas, Geraldo Rivera, Kevin Jonas, Terrell Owens, Sig Hansen, Gilbert Gottfried, Keisha Knight Pulliam, Kenya Moore, Brandi Glanville, Kate Gosselin, Vivica Fox, Shawn Johnson, Leeza Gibbons and Jamie Anderson.  And in case you were wondering, Strawberry was fired during the third episode of the 2010 season after telling Trump he wanted to quit.  Canseco fared a little better, however. Kinda. The embattled slugger left the show in 2011 after just five episodes.
