Wrigley Field, home of the rebuilt and quite possibly ready to contend Cubs, is of course undergoing a rather substantial makeover. As part of said makeover, the Cubs are rebuilding the outfield bleachers. That means that roughly 4,500 seats won't be available for the first month-plus of the season. Needless to say, that's not optimal for a team that's conjured up a lot of enthusiasm among its fans this offseason. As well, MLB.com's Carrie Muskat tweets that the right field bleachers likely won't be open until late May.
Developing, it would seem.
