The Baltimore Orioles are gathering in Sarasota, Fla., for spring training but one of their fans is representing the team in a much more distant locale.
An Orioles fan was watching the live feed of the International Space Station when he spotted the familiar O's logo on the arm of an astronaut.
While we do not know for sure which of the six astronauts currently aboard the ISS is wearing the patch, the smart money is on Col. Terry Virts, who was born and raised in the Baltimore-area, and celebrated his birthday aboard the space station last year in a Matt Wieters Orioles shirt.
