The moves keep coming from the San Diego Padres as the team traded for Atlanta Braves closer Craig Kimbrel and outfielder Melvin Upton Jr., the teams announced Sunday night just hours before the season's opening game between the Cardinals and Cubs.

Padres acquire Kimbrel, Upton from Braves in 6 player deal

The Braves will receive outfielders Cameron Maybin and Carlos Quentin, two promising prospects — right-hander Matt Wisler and outfielder Jordan Paroubeck — and the 41st pick in this year's draft.
According to FOX Sports MLB insider Ken Rosenthal, there will be no money exchanged in the deal. Both sides will take on existing contracts as they are.
