ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- Shin-Soo Choo hit a tying three-run homer in the seventh inning and scored the winning run in the 10th to lift the Texas Rangers to an 8-7 victory over the Oakland Athletics on Saturday night.
Choo led off the 10th with a double down the right-field line against Ryan Cook (0-2), moved to third following two walks and scored on Rougned Odor's off R.J. Alvarez.
Rookie Keone Kela (1-1) pitched the top of the 10th to earn his first major league win as the Rangers ended a four-game losing streak.

Kyle Blanks was 4 for 4, including his second home run in two games, and three RBIs for the Rangers.
The A's took a 7-3 lead with a six-run seventh inning. Mark Canha bounced a ball past the mound that struck crew-chief Jerry Meals, who was standing to the right of second base on the infield grass, on the left hip. Josh Reddick also had a two-out, three-run homer.
Oakland's runs came on three hits, two errors and a hit batter. One of the errors was committed by catcher Robinson Chirinos. He had Canha in a rundown but threw over third baseman Adrian Beltre into left field.
Reddick's homer was his third this season. He had three hits to extend his career-high hitting streak to 10 games during which he's hitting .500.
Texas answered with four runs in the bottom of the seventh, including Choo's homer with two out. Choo came up in the inning in a 1-for-27 slump, a season's batting average of .101 and hadn't homered since April 9.
Texas starter Nick Martinez entered the game with the major leagues' best ERA at 0.35. He allowed five runs, two earned, in six-plus innings.
