MIAMI (AP) -- Atlanta Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez grew up in Miami, so it's no surprise he enjoys visits to South Florida.
His players make themselves at home here, too, much to the consternation of the Miami Marlins.
Rookie Jace Peterson hit a grand slam for his first major league home run, and Atlanta overcame another tape-measure shot by Giancarlo Stanton to remain undefeated this year at Marlins Park by beating Miami 5-3 Saturday.
On Sunday, the Braves have a shot at their first series sweep since winning three in a row in Miami to start the season. They're 5-0 at Marlins Park and 12-19 everywhere else.

"I'm not a gambler, so I don't know what the odds are on that," Gonzalez said.
Alex Wood (2-2) picked off two runners in seven innings and earned his first victory since he won at Miami in the second game of the season.
"I'm still working on a lot of things, trying to figure it out and piece it together," Wood said. "As long as we get a `W' and I throw up some zeroes, I'll take it any day."
Major league RBIs leader Stanton hit his third mammoth homer this week, a solo shot off Wood into the upper deck in center field. A spectator reached over a railing to make a one-handed catch five rows in front of the 502-foot sign.
Stanton, who has 11 homers, also hit two long outs. He flied out against Jason Grilli with a runner on to end the game.
"We know that if you make a mistake, he can hit it a long ways," Grilli said. "We have a good approach with him, and it worked."
Grilli gave up a run in the ninth, hiking his ERA to 5.11, but earned his 11th save in 12 chances. Teammate Todd Cunningham went 3 for 4 for the second game in a row since being recalled from Triple-A.
Mat Latos (1-4) allowed five runs before he left the game in the fourth inning with a bruised left shin after being hit in the leg by Cameron Maybin's line drive. X-rays were negative, but Latos left the clubhouse using a crutch and was noncommittal about making his next scheduled start.
Wood allowed two runs, one earned, and picked off Ichiro Suzuki at first base and Adeiny Hechavarria at second.
Atlanta started the second inning with four consecutive hits, including an RBI single by A.J. Pierzynski. With one out, Peterson pulled a pitch into the stands to make it 5-0.
He said it was the first grand slam of his life.
"I'm just trying to hit the ball hard, and it happened to go out," he said. "I couldn't be more happy for sure."
PAINFUL SOUVENIR
Stanton's homer was caught by 29-year-old Ryan Mont of West Palm Beach, attending his first Marlins game of the year.
"At first it was exciting, because I was like, `I actually caught it,'" Mont said. "I was so excited I didn't think it hurt until after I handed the ball off and started sitting down for a while. And then I was like, `Man, it really hurts.' I wish I had a glove."
Stanton was rounding the bases and didn't see Mont's catch.
"I heard about it," he said with a smile. "One-handed, right?"
