ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) -- Erasmo Ramirez pitched six innings of four-hit ball to get his sixth win in seven starts, Brandon Guyer homered, and the Tampa Bay Rays beat the Houston Astros 3-1 Friday night.
Ramirez (8-3) gave up a solo homer to Colby Rasmus, his 11th, in the second inning and struck out five. It was Ramirez's eighth straight start giving up two runs or fewer.

Houston starter Colin McHugh (9-5) retired 13 straight batters before Rene Rivera opened the sixth with a single and John Jaso followed with a double. David DeJesus and Evan Longoria had run-scoring grounders to give the Rays a 2-1 lead.
Guyer homered with two outs in the seventh to cap the scoring. It was his third homer of the season and first since May 8.
Brad Boxberger, Tampa Bay's third reliever, pitched the ninth for his 21st save.
The Rays snapped a four-game losing streak and won for just the second time in 13 games.
The AL-West leading Astros lost for the sixth time in seven games.
McHugh gave up three runs on four hits in seven innings, striking out six.
