DENVER (AP) -- Tom Murphy had an RBI single and a home run - his first major league hits - and Colorado overcame the loss of starting pitcher Yohan Flande after he was struck in the left leg by a line drive and the Rockies beat the San Diego Padres 10-2 on Saturday night.Charlie Blackmon had three hits, including an RBI single, and scored three times, and Nolan Arenado singled twice to drive in two runs for Colorado, which has won six of its last nine games.Jedd Gyorko homered and doubled and Justin Upton had an RBI single for San Diego. 
Christian Bergman (3-0) pitched 3 1-3 innings of one-run relief after coming on in the third inning to replace Flande, who was hit in the left knee area by a line drive hit by Gyorko. The ball bounced off Flande's leg into foul territory between third and home and Gyorko had a double.Clearly favoring his left leg, Flande was briefly examined on the field by team trainers before being led away to the clubhouse for further treatment. The team announced later that X-rays were negative and Flande bruised his left patellar tendon.The Rockies took command from the outset, jumping on Robbie Erlin - the first left-handed starter for the Padres this season - for four runs in the first inning. Carlos Gonzalez, Arenado and Murphy all had run-scoring singles in the inning.Erlin (0-1) went three-plus innings and allowed seven runs and nine hits in his season debut.Murphy, who was called up a week ago from Triple-A Albuquerque, connected off reliever Marcos Mateo leading off the fifth to put Colorado up 9-1. He collected a third hit, another single, in the eighth.Gyorko drilled his 15th home run in the sixth, driving a 2-2 pitch from Bergman over the fence in right-center.LEFT TO LEFTErlin was not only the first left-hander to start a game for the Padres this season. He was the last lefty to do so, starting the final game of last season for San Diego.
