Mark Reynolds smashed an apartment window across the street from Wrigley during batting practice

When Cardinals infielder Mark Reynolds makes contact (which isn’t all that often) he can hit the ball really far. Sometimes too far. 
During batting practice at Wrigley on Sunday, Reynolds hit a wind-aided homer that smashed a window on an apartment across the street.
SI.com’s Chris Chavez was in town to cover the Chicago Marathon and took a picture of the damage.
Ben Frederickson of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch spoke to the guy who lives in the apartment, a 24-year-old engineer named David Brown. Brown was watching BP from his window and got a few cuts on the arm from the broken glass.

Brown doesn’t want Reynolds to pay for the repairs, but he is hoping to score some free playoff tickets as reimbursement.
