Free agent outfielder Delmon Young threatened to kill and then choked a hotel worker in Miami early Sunday night, according to reports.
Young, 30, faces a battery charge in this latest incident that also involves allegations of inappropriate slurs, this time directed at a valet attendant at the Viceroy Miami hotel who refused to let Young onto an elevator that lead to a club that had closed for the night.
"Stupid Cuban,” Young told the attendant per the police report obtained by WPLG-TV. “Open the (expletive) door.”
Young walked away briefly, but returned shortly thereafter.

"I'm gonna (expletive) kill you, you Latin piece of (expletive)," Young allegedly said.
Young then reached over the valet podium and grabbed the attendant by the neck, according to the WPLG-TV. After the attendant broke free, the police were called.
Officers from the Miami Police Department responded to the scene of the alleged incident and later found Young at his condo, where the report states Young "was unsteady on his feet and spoke with slurred speech."
He also, according to the report, told one of the officers, "I'll slap you in the face with money, you (expletive) Cuban."
Young was arrested in April 2012 after he tackled a man wearing a yarmulke and yelling, "You bunch (expletive) Jews!"  He pleaded guilty to harassment and performed 10 hours of community service.
Young has played on five teams during his 11-season MLB career, the last two seasons with the Baltimore Orioles.
