Former MLB pitcher Kevin Brown suspected someone stealing from mailboxes near his Macon, Ga., home, and he apparently took matters into his own hands to try and stop the alleged perpetrators.
According to Macon.com, deputies said Brown hid in a neighbor's yard and waited for the thieves to strike again after reports surfaced of stolen mail.
Brown caught two men — one of them a 15-year-old —  Wednesday and held them at gunpoint until officers arrived.
Information was not immediately released on the charges that the suspects may face, and they were not identified in initial media reports.
Over Brown's 19-year MLB career, he spent time with the Rangers, Orioles, Marlins, Padres, Dodgers and Yankees.
He won 211 games, becoming a six-time All-Star.
Brown retired in 2005 with the Yankees at age 41.
