Mo Better Relief

On September 19, 2011, in NY Yankees, Spit Balls
Mariano Rivera is now the greatest closer of all time but we have all known that for over a decade now. Rivera's dominance in the regular season is nothing compared to his postseason accomplishments. Regular season ERA is 2.22 and Postseason is a ridiculous .71, let me repeat that .71! Many will argue that Jeter is the one player that was the most indispensable during the dynasty run of the late 90's or maybe even Bernie, Pettitte, O'neill or Posada but hands down the one guy the Yankees could have never won even 1 title without the great Rivera closing out all of those games.  His expression is the same with 2 outs and nobody on or bases loaded with nobody out. He is such a cool customer Coors Light should have a picture of Rivera on it's bottles and cans to let you know how cold your beer is.  Ask even a Red Sox fan and they will tell you that if your team needs 3 outs in the 9th que up Metallica it's Enter Sandman time, good night, game over. For a man who is 2 months away from being the same age as the number on his back which by the way Rivera will be the last player to ever wear the #42 in the Major Leagues he shows no signs of letting up. There is 1 year left on Rivera's contract and he will most likely retire after next season so sit back and enjoy the likes of something us baseball fans will never see again. Exit Light Enter night Take my hand We're off to never never-land
