Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias has confirmed to reporters that he has a stress fracture in each leg (Jason Beck via Twitter), but wouldn't yet corroborate that he'll miss significant time this season -- even if he didn't deny it.
Instead, he just doesn't know.
Iglesias said they'll know more about a timetable and treatment after he sees specialist tomorrow.

Iglesias believes he will play this season. Main focus for him is to get healthy.

Iglesias, 24, hit .303/.349/.386 (101 OPS+) with 16 doubles, five stolen bases and slick defense for the Red Sox and Tigers last season -- good enough to finish second in the AL Rookie of the Year voting.
The talk of Iglesias missing most or all of the 2014 season has led to intense speculation that free agent Stephen Drew could be a nice fit in Detroit. Considering Iglesias is set to see a specialist Tuesday, we'll likely have to wait for the diagnoses there before the rumor can either move forward or subside.
