The game was postponed after failing to finish the third inning. Interestingly enough, the weather cut rehabbing Matt Harrison's start short. Of course, the weather was a much greater concern. From CBS Local (DFW):
There are reports of a tornado touching down in Collin County, near Farmersville.
The possible twister would have spawned from severe weather that blew through the town of Krum. Weather in that area blew down barns, fences and power lines.
The same system moved through McKinney with heavy rain and high winds.
The storm continued moving east and passed over Farmerville, a city located in northeastern Collin County. It was there where reports are coming in of a tornado touching down.
Around 8:15 p.m. officials with the Collin County Sheriff's Office told CBS 11 that two homes had been completely destroyed in northwestern Hunt County, near County Road 1081.
At 8:33 p.m. the Greenville Police Department sent out tweets reporting a tornado on the ground and heading toward Commerce. Matt Snyder/CBS Sports
