Pineda might have to answer some questions about the substance after the game. It's clear that something is there. Whether or not it's giving him an advantage is the question at hand.
This certainly isn't the first time we have seen pitchers trying to gain an advantage with a foreign substance. It was around this time last year that Boston pitchers Clay Buchholz and Junichi Tazawa were accused of doctoring the ball in a series against the Toronto Blue Jays.
