Six months ago today, Matt Harvey went under the knife for Tommy John surgery. It’s not exactly the happiest moment for a major league pitcher, so Harvey decided to celebrate the half-year anniversary today by tweeting a photo of him in the hospital flipping the bird, presumably pissed at the fact he’s got some serious rehab ahead of him.
Unfortunately, a bunch of sensitive babies complained about Harvey’s middle finger picture and, as a result of the backlash, the Mets starter deleted the tweet and, ultimately, his entire account.
