SAN FRANCISCO -- Brandon Hicks walloped a tiebreaking, three-run homer in Sunday's ninth inning to lift the Giants to their third walk-off victory of the season, a 4-1 triumph over the Cleveland Indians that completed San Francisco's three-game Interleague series sweep.
Buster Posey began the Giants' winning surge against Cleveland right-hander Cody Allen (2-1) with a leadoff single. Pinch-hitter Gregor Blanco's sacrifice bunt advanced Ehire Adrianza, running for Posey, to second base. Allen fanned Pablo Sandoval before intentionally walking Brandon Crawford to set up a force play. Up came Hicks, who belted a 1-0 fastball into the left-field seats.

Sergio Romo (2-0) blanked Cleveland in its half of the ninth to earn the decision.
Yan Gomes belted his third homer of the season to christen the eighth inning and forge a 1-1 tie against Giants right-hander Santiago Casilla. That ended a scoreless streak of 19 consecutive innings recorded at AT&T Park by Giants relievers.
San Francisco opened the scoring in the fourth inning on back-to-back, two-out doubles by Sandoval and Crawford off Cleveland starter Danny Salazar.
Giants starter Ryan Vogelsong, who entered the game with a 7.71 ERA, worked seven innings and yielded just two singles, both by leadoff hitter Michael Bourn. In the first inning, Bourn advanced to second base on Jason Kipnis' walk, but Vogelsong stranded them by retiring Carlos Santana on a fly to deep right and Michael Brantley on a grounder to second base.
Bourn collected his next hit with one out in the third inning but was erased on a slick double play started by second baseman Hicks, who made a sliding backhand stop of Nick Swisher's sharp one-hopper.
