The Marlins signed veteran infielder Miguel Tejada to a Minor League contract, though he will have to wait out the remainder of his 105-game suspension for amphetamines before he can participate in Major League games.The Marlins announced the deal on Monday, and Tejada will report to Class A Advanced Jupiter.Tejada, 39, last played in the big leagues for the Royals in 2013, seeing time in 53 games and batting .288 with three homers and 20 RBIs. Tejada is a six-time All-Star who finished first in the 2002 American League Most Valuable Player Award voting while with the A's.According to ESPNDeportes.com, Tejada -- who has tested positive three times for amphetamines, most recently while with Kansas City -- will be eligible to return to the big leagues after May 31.Joey Nowak / MLB.com
