SAN FRANCISCO -- A five-run top of the 11th gave the Reds a 7-3 victory over the Giants on Saturday and extended their winning streak to four games.
A two-run single by Zack Cozart, followed by a two-run triple by Chris Heisey and an RBI double from Billy Hamilton blew a 2-2 game open. Cincinnati claimed the four-game series with Sunday's game remaining to win its fifth straight series while improving to 5-1 on the road trip and winning seven of its last eight games.

Cozart, Reds score 5 in 11th to beat Giants 7-3

Working four straight days for the second time in his career, Reds closer Aroldis Chapman could not lock down the 2-1 lead the team gained in the top of the ninth from Brandon Phillips' two-run homer off Giants closer Sergio Romo. It was Chapman's second blown save in 18 chances this season.
Chapman's first batter, Hunter Pence, beat a shift and rolled a single through an open right side. In a 10-pitch plate appearance that exceeded Chapman's pitch count from the previous night by one, Pablo Sandoval fouled off four two-strike pitches and drew a walk. Pinch-hitting, Buster Posey laced the game-tying RBI double to the left-field wall, scoring Pence.
Jonathan Broxton got the victory after he gave up a leadoff infield hit in the bottom of the 10th but kept San Francisco from scoring. Jumbo Diaz allowed a two-out run in the bottom of the 11th before finishing off the victory.
In the top of the 11th vs. Javier Lopez, Joey Votto hit a leadoff double to left field. After Phillips was intentionally walked, Jay Bruce dropped his first sacrifice bunt since 2011. Devin Mesoraco's intentional walk loaded the bases. With one out against Jean Machi, Cozart's two-run hit snapped Cincinnati's 0-for-9 night with runners in scoring position and opened the floodgates.
Reds starter Alfredo Simon got a no-decision despite a very strong performance where he threw only 80 pitches over seven innings. Simon allowed one run on three hits with one walk and four strikeouts.
Matt Cain, the former Giants ace who has struggled this season, was in line for a victory after allowing six hits over his seven scoreless innings with two walks and four strikeouts.
Simon, who was seeking to be the first National League pitcher with 11 wins, had his sinker working well. None of his outs were recorded in the outfield and he notched 15 ground-ball outs overall.
The Giants, who sent the minimum number of batters to the plate vs. Simon with one hit through three innings, notched their run in the fifth. Brandon Crawford hit a one-out single to left field and went to third base on Adam Duvall's double to left field. Joe Panik scorched a liner off Simon's glove that enabled Crawford to score as Cozart's only play was to first base.
Simon retired eight of his last nine batters and finished with a five-pitch bottom of the seventh. He was lifted for a pinch-hitter to start the top of the eighth.
