When Cincinnati Reds' infielder Todd Frazier was 12 years old his team won the Little League World Series and got to take the field with the New York Yankees, and Frazier got paired up with shortstop Derek Jeter.16 years later the two had another chance to take a picture together as Frazier was playing in his first All-Star game and Jeter was playing in his last. Fraizer told the Cincinnati Enquirer what it was like to bring the scenario full circle.

"It's pretty cool, in '98 to meet him then and now I'm playing with him in his last All-Star game," Frazier said. "I think that's pretty cool, he's a down-to-earth guy and he deserves every accolade he gets."The third-baseman added that he idolized Jeter growing up, despite being a Red Sox fan.Jeter told the paper that he enjoyed meeting with players who he met as little leaguers, but also recognized the downside."It means I've been doing it for a long time – a very long time."Brendan Maloy
