CC Sabathia won't pitch for the Yankees again this season.GM Brian Cashman announced on Friday that the left-hander will undergo season-ending microfracture surgery on his right knee. The procedure is scheduled for Wednesday. 
Sabathia was placed on the disabled list May 11 with inflammation in his right knee. He attempted to rehab the injury and made two starts in the Minors as he tried to recover, but he experienced more swelling after his July 2 start for Double-A Trenton.
Before being sidelined, Sabathia made eight starts for New York in 2014, going 3-4 with a 5.28 ERA. The veteran holds a 208-119 record with a 3.63 ERA over 14 years in the Majors.
