A fan fell over a railing above the outfield wall in New York's Citi Field (home of the Mets) Saturday, landing on the field and injuring himself, according to the Associated Press.
The fan has been identified as Nick Gambacorta and is said to be in his 30s.

He was reportedly with a group for an outing with local bus operators, supervisors and their families. The AP is reporting that Gambacorta was attempting to get the attention of a Giants player during batting practice.
The Mets have released a statement that Gambacorta has been taken the hospital, but didn't include further details.
Giants outfielder Jarrett Parker, though, told reporters (AP) that he saw a bone protruding from Gambacorta's arm.
