With heavy rain expected to fall in Kansas City tonight, Major League Baseball has postponed Game 3 of the American League Championship Series. The Royals and Orioles will resume this series on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET (TBS).

Game 3 of ALCS postponed because of rain

MLB announced that Game 4 will be played on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET and, if necessary, Game 5 will be played on Thursday, with first pitch also scheduled for 4 p.m. ET. The Royals own a 2-0 lead in this best-of-seven series.
If the series goes back to Baltimore, Game 6 and Game 7 will be played as scheduled on Friday and Saturday. This sets up the possibility of the two teams playing on five consecutive days. Thursday had been scheduled as a travel day.
