Indians right-hander Corey Kluber was named the 2014 AL Cy Young Award winner on Wednesday night, the BBWAA announced. He received 17 of the 30 first place votes.Kluber, 28, went 18-9 with a 2.44 ERA in 34 innings. He led the league with a 2.35 FIP and struck out 269 innings in 235 2/3 innings. Kluber walked only 51 batters and posted a stellar 5.27 K/BB ratio.Kluber is the third different Indians pitcher to win the Cy Young Award in the last eight years. CC Sabathia won in 2007 and Cliff Lee won in 2008.Mariners right-hander Felix Hernandez finished second in the voting and received 13 first place votes.
