The White Sox and free agent left-handed reliever Zach Duke have agreed to a three-year, $15 million contract.
Duke, 31, will receive $4.5 million in 2015, $5 million in 2016 and $5.5 million in 2017.
The left-hander appeared in 74 games for the Brewers in 2014, going 5-1 with a 2.45 ERA.

White Sox sign Zach Duke to a three-year deal

"Very early on, we identified Zach as one of the best left-handed free agents available this offseason, so we are very pleased he agreed to join the White Sox," said Rick Hahn, White Sox senior vice president/general manager, in a statement announcing the deal. "He addresses an important need in our bullpen by giving [manager] Robin Ventura a veteran left-handed option late in games."
Duke began his career as a starter, but he has pitched the majority of the past four seasons out of the bullpen, where he has flourished. He fanned 74 batters in 58 2/3 innings last season, walking 17 and allowing three home runs.
The lefy is 55-77 with a 4.46 ERA in 289 games (169 starts) with the Pirates, D-backs, Nationals, Reds and Brewers.
