HOUSTON -- There's nothing better to break a team out of an offensive funk than a little long ball. Or in the Astros' case, a lot of long ball.
The Astros belted a season-high five home runs, including two-run shots by catcher Jason Castro and shortstop Jonathan Villar, to snap a three-game losing streak with a 7-4 win over the Angels on Sunday afternoon at Minute Maid Park.

In addition to Castro and Villar, the Astros got solo shots from Matt Dominguez, Jesus Guzman and Alex Presley for their most homers in a game since clubbing five on Aug. 26, 2013 against the White Sox in Chicago.
Astros starter Scott Feldman turned in another strong outing, going a team-season-high seven innings while allowing three hits and one run in his second start of the season.
Four of the Astros' homers came against Angels starter Jered Weaver, who gave up five runs and five hits while striking out six batters in 5 2/3 innings.
Weaver began the first by hitting Villar with a pitch, and he scored one out later when Castro crushed a 3-1 pitch and sent it over the wall in left-center field for a 2-0 lead. It was the first at-bat for Castro since he was forced to leave Thursday's game a couple of innings after he sustained a bruised foot after being hit by a pitch.
Dominguez hit a pitch over the middle of the plate over the wall in left with one out in the second to put the Astros ahead, 3-0. Weaver retired six batters in a row before Guzman hit an 0-1 pitch over the wall in left-center for the Astros' third homer and a 4-0 lead. Presley led off the fifth with a homer to right -- his first with the Astros -- to stretch the lead to 5-1.
The Astros didn't manage a hit other than a home run until Guzman's tapper in the sixth inning that wound up being the last batter for Weaver, who started against the Astros for only the second time in his career.
The Astros rallied for a pair of runs in the seventh against reliever Matt Shoemaker. He got two outs to start the inning before L.J. Hoes singled and Villar homered to right field to push the lead to 7-1 and send the Astros on their way to a win and a chance to finish their first homestand with a winning record.
